Nyfea Supercapacitor
The Nyfea supercapacitor is an electrochemical double-layer capacitor featuring very high capacitance but with a low voltage limit. Compared to conventional capacitors, supercapacitors have a significantly larger surface area for storing more electrical charge, with capacitance reaching the farad (F) range, and they store more energy than electrolytic capacitors. They exhibit low leakage current and are suitable for a wide range of applications operating within the 1.8V to 2.5V range. Supercapacitors have a service life of 10 to 20 years; however, after approximately 8 to 10 years, their capacitance may degrade from 100% to 80%.
